Split Rail is a 3 Bedroom 2.5 bath located on the south end of Lake Blue Ridge in North Central Georgia. Surrounded by US Forest Service land the lake is located in the Aska Adventure Area, and the lakeside cabin is just a short walk to Aska Trails.
Split Rail is a curated mix of rustic and modern design offering all of the conveniences of home but in a relaxed environment. Each room features a queen-sized bed. An additional trundle bed is located just outside the upstairs bedrooms. Each room also offers its own mini-split HVAC unit allowing guests to control their room's temperature. The cabin is an easy 2-hour drive from Atlanta or Chattanooga and just 15-20 minutes off Hwy 515 and downtown Blue Ridge. |

Outside activities in and around the lake are endless. Beyond the typical lake activities with our kayaks or paddle boards, we are fortunate to be surrounded by great hiking and mountain biking with a trailhead just minutes from the house.
Venturing out a bit there are numerous orchards and cider houses in the area as well as dozens of wineries in the Blue Ridge and Ellijay areas. Peaches are out in May/June and high season for apples is October. Downtown Blue Ridge has great restaurants and bars as well as an eclectic mix of shops. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad offers train rides up to the Tennessee/Georgia state line and back which is kind of touristy but also super enjoyable. |
